I’m so grateful for all of the times that I stopped my friends/family and made them pose for a picture.
Beyond the groans and the but you literally just took a picture of me 10 minutes ago looks, these are little pieces of time that I get to keep frozen. These memories stay crisp and in that moment, people stay this way. In that moment, I’m 23 standing in Times Square with my mom. In that moment, my family is walking down a street in New Orleans with the smell of heaven coated in powdered sugar beckoning us to follow it. I ate six beignets that day. From Boston and Rome to Paris and New York, all of these moments and people have shaped me.
